Dirtbox Soundsystem makes it eagerly awaited debut in Liverpool under the banner of The Dub Works at the Picket. Bringing you a night of dubstep and d'n'b in the form of well known Liverpool residents (one of whom celebrates his birthday on this day), a very special guest and some of Dirtbox's very own we will be pumping it out through our newly completed custom built 13KW soundsystem.

We arrive on the very last night of Liverpool John Moore's Universities graduation ceremonies and even if your not at LJMU, shed the shackles of education in style and skank around to this lineup:

If you haven’t already heard of Dodge & Fuski yet you soon will as these guys are on the button. In the second half of 2010 the dubstep and drum & bass duo racked up over 500k views on Youtube and been championed by Radio 1, 1 Xtra and the world’s leading YouTube dubstep channel UKF.

Describing themselves as “self-confessed Westcountry layabouts who drink too much tea” the Bristol duo are anything but. Prolific and exciting producers they’ve already had tracks signed to labels such as Sludge, Rat Records, PLAY ME Records, Safe&Sound and Section 8 getting in on the action. They’ve also just been signed to the fresh and exciting record label ‘Never Say Die Records’ home to artists such as Foreign Beggars, Freestylers, SKisM and more…

Alongside standout tracks such as ‘Pornstep’ and ‘Go Nuts’, they have also made a name for themselves remixing the likes of Deekline, Wizard, Ed Solo, Blatta & Inesha, Funkystepz and DJ Assault by twisting up dubstep, electro and D&B flavours to create a fresh contemporary sound.

This is only the start and with some exciting secret projects coming to the fore in early 2011 they really are the ones to watch

The latest release from the ground breaking series is here! Ear Infection Volume 7 has landed! Again, RICHIE DOES NOT FAIL TO DELIVER. NO SIR.

This one is a proper mix up of all things I like at the moment.. It has 1 or 2 more commercially based tracks, and a tech-trancer just thrown in to see what happens.. of course the rest is face melting bass; life is all about the face melting bass. I'm sure this one will blow your tits off.

This is the second instalment of a series of mixes I'm going to be uploading and letting you Electro fans download.

This volume is some what more dirty than the last one with some absolutely ruthless tracks from artists such as: HiJack, Foamo, Laidback Luke, Jack Beats & Lee Mortimer to name a few..

This time the mix was done with out having an ear infection ... however, I accidentally exported the mix at 112kbps rather than 128 and then forgot to save it, so the quality is slightly lower but still unnoticeable to the untrained ear. Yes, I nearly flew off the handle when I forgot to save it. I started biting my table and have teeth marks in it. Temper Temper.

This is the first instalment of a series of mixes I'm going to be uploading and letting you Electro fans down load. It's going to have all the lovely heavy bass lines, the hard stabby kicks and the mind bending vocal chops and distorts.

The first volume is going to set the standard, it's got tracks from AC Slater, Young Nutz, and Bass Weazal to name a few..

I called the series Ear Infection because right now as I'm typing this, I'm suffering from one so I thought why not eh.. you'll probably get an ear infection from listening to it anyway (or at very least a melty face.. yeaaaah.)
